Seattle weather: Drier day Friday with mild temperatures in the 50s

We saw mild temperatures again this afternoon along with drier skies, but this evening the rain returned. A cold front moves through this evening, bringing showers and breezy winds at times. Rain will taper overnight into Friday, with milder temperatures to end the week. We are tracking more showers for the weekend with rain, wind and lower snow levels by Sunday.

We will see mostly cloudy skies Friday with overall drier conditions. We will see a few scattered showers in the evening with highs again in the mid 50s.

Temperatures will remain mild through the weekend, keeping snow levels above the passes through Saturday. We will see a stronger system move through Sunday, bringing some snow to the mountain passes and gusty winds at times. Showers will continue into next week with more rain for holiday travel.
