We have seen some nice snowfall accumulation in the mountain passes today. We have seen over six new inches of snow for Snoqualmie Pass and around 8" for Stevens Pass.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 10 p.m. tonight for several additional inches of mountain snow.

Showers will taper this evening with clearer and cooler temperatures. Overnight lows will drop to the low 30s for some spots, so watch for slick conditions into early Tuesday morning.

Skies will start partly cloudy with increasing clouds through the day Tuesday. Highs will be slightly below average, topping out only in the mid to low 40s. Showers will return along the coast by sunset and slowly move inland by midnight.

A few showers will be around early Wednesday and Thursday with light mountain snow. A stronger system is still on track for Friday with more lowland rain, mountain snow and gusty winds.
