Remarkably long stretch of dry weather in Seattle for January
Seattle weather: Cold air, dry conditions continue Wednesday
A weak disturbance passing by will increase high clouds during the day on Wednesday, but still dry.
SEATTLE - Our exceptionally long stretch of dry weather continues this week in Seattle. There may be a light shower Thursday evening, but most backyards will be absolutely dry.

Localized freezing fog is a possibility on an almost daily basis this week, primarily in the South Sound and the Southwest Interior. Where this happens, slick spots could easily develop. Even in areas without freezing fog, icy spots could be found on bridges, overpasses and sidewalks. Be cautious of black ice this week, particularly during the evenings and mornings.

Highs this afternoon will only land in the low 40s. The forecast models are disagreeing on cloud cover today: one is going partly sunny. Another is going mostly cloudy.
Thursday could begin with patchy freezing fog (particularly in the South Sound). It'll be a cloudier vs sunnier day. There might be a light shower (mostly near Canada) in the evening, but most will wind up shower-free.

Friday through Monday will be bright, beautiful, sunny and frigid. Spotty freezing fog can't be ruled out during the mornings. Fog may be a slightly more widespread issue Tuesday morning.
