January 13th is the anniversary of the snowiest day in Seattle. Sea-Tac Airport measured 20 inches of snow, while also breaking temperature records. Seattle had a high of just 19 degrees and a low of 11 degrees that day. Before Sea-Tac was built, Seattle did get 21.5 inches of snow during the February 2, 1916 blizzard, but that was measured at a different location.
