Dozens of roosters killed in rescue gone wrong

60+ roosters from a cockfighting ring were set to go to an animal sanctuary in Pierce County for rehoming, but Yakima County deputies shot and killed them despite knowledge of the plan. FOX 13’s investigative team learned that deputies attributed the decision to “time constraints.”
