'Sam Now' documentary dives into generational trauma for Seattle family, filmed over 25 years

Filmed over the span of 25 years, an intimate coming of age documentary called "Sam Now" is available on the PBS app. In the film, Seattle-based filmmaker Reed Harkness follows his half brother Sam, as their once-average family was left uprooted.
