WSP seeks info on fatal drive-by shooting of WA teen in 2023
PARKLAND, Wash. - Washington State Patrol needs help determining what led up to the murder of 15-year-old Russell Walker, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Pierce County in December 2023.
Around 2:00 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2023, Walker was in a car with other people, when another vehicle pulled up and shot at them. The victims then sped to Tacoma General Hospital, where two were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Walker was pronounced dead on arrival.
It has been one year since the drive-by shooting, and investigators are still working to put the pieces together.
