Video shows driver shooting at Maserati in broad daylight in Seattle
SEATTLE - Investigators with the Seattle Police Department are looking into a shooting that took place Saturday in the Greenwood neighborhood.
According to SPD, the shooting happened around 12:20 p.m. in the 10200 block of Linden Avenue North.
Video shared with FOX 13 Seattle shows a silver Maserati traveling slowly along the street when a silver Jeep attempts to block its path. You see the driver of the Maserati attempt to maneuver around the Jeep but is unsuccessful. The driver of the Jeep blocks the luxury vehicle, opens the door and points a handgun at the Maserati all before opening fire.
At least eight gunshots are heard in the surveillance video.
Seattle police said when they arrived at the scene they found more than half a dozen shell casings in the street, but there was no sign of either vehicle.
It's believed that the Maserati fled southbound with the Jeep in tow.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Police are urging anyone with information to call 911 or the Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
