Fire tears through multiple buildings in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. - Crews remained at the scene Friday morning after a fire in Tacoma. 

The fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of North I Street, near the stadium district. It appears the fire is at or near Alliant, a physical therapy building. 

Fire investigators told FOX 13's Dan Griffin that the fire tore through three buildings. 

It's unknown if anyone was inside the buildings. 

The cause remains under investigation.
