Suspect identified in Leavenworth park vandalism
The Chelan County Sheriff's Office has identified a suspect who allegedly drove recklessly in Leavenworth last weekend.
LEAVENWORTH, Wash. - The Chelan County Sheriff's Office has identified a suspect who allegedly drove recklessly in Leavenworth last weekend.
Zachary Soltis, a Texas resident, was identified by deputies as the driver of a truck that did several donuts and burnouts at a Leavenworth park.
Deputies say there is probable cause to arrest Soltis for second-degree malicious mischief and reckless driving.
Though law enforcement is working to file charges, Soltis has not yet been arrested.
The sheriff's office says it was able to identify the suspect through the tireless efforts of deputies, and help from citizens and visitors.
