SB I-5 lanes near Everett reopen after crashes

EVERETT, Wash. - All lanes of southbound Interstate 5 near Everett have been cleared and reopened after two multi-car crashes Monday morning. 

The crashes happened just north of Marine View Drive and blocked all lanes around 7:30 a.m.

It's not known how many cars were involved.

Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation said the backups reached to about 7 and a half miles long.
