2 drivers killed in head-on crash on US 2
Two women died after a head-on crash on US 2 in Snohomish County Tuesday morning.
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. - The drivers of two vehicles were killed in a crash on US 2 in Snohomish County early on New Year's Eve.
According to Snohomish County Fire District 4, first responders were called before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday to milepost 6 for the report of a head-on crash.
The drivers of both vehicles died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating. It was not immediately known what caused the crash.
US 2 was closed in both directions until shortly after 11:00 a.m., according to WSDOT.
