SEATTLE -- Community donations helped a south Seattle playground receive a massive overhaul.
Students at Columbia City's Orca School barely recognized their playground. The field had been grass and mud and now has basketball hoops, walking trails and a rain garden. There are also ramps for students with medical challenges, allowing them to get a chance to play.
"The new playground-- I see 10 kids like every single minute on it. It's a really successful thing," said student Alexa.
Volunteers planted new trees as well. Generations of students to come will watch them grow.
