Flynn has spent the last decade in nonprofit work telling FOX Weather that she’s passionate about storytelling. Flynn has produced films like "This Changes Everything," which explores the history of women in Hollywood.
FOX Weather reported that Bowe is a former NASA rocket scientist and CEO of STEMBoard, an engineering company recognized as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
What we don't know:
The launch date for the flight has not been announced yet, FOX Weather reported.
Has an all-women crew flown to space before?
Dig deeper:
Blue Origin noted that this upcoming flight will be the first all-woman flight since the Soviet Union's Valentina Tereshkova’s solo spaceflight in 1963, USA Today reported.
The new flight with the star-studded crew will be the 11th human flight for the New Shepard program and the 31st in its history.
