Boy arrested for Lions Park stabbing in Everett, WA

A male juvenile has been arrested in connection with a stabbing at Everett's Lions Park.

The boy was arrested for first degree assault. Investigators believe the two knew each other, however they are still looking into the nature of their relationship.

Everett police officers received calls about a stabbing just before 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Officers say they arrived at 7530 Cascade Drive to find a victim with "obvious stab wounds."

Everett Fire then transported the victim to Providence Hospital. Police used a K-9 unit and drone to try and find a suspect. While initially unable to find a suspect, additional investigators with the department's Major Crimes Unit later identified and arrested the suspect.
