1 killed in crash in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood
One person died in a car crash early Friday morning in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood.
SEATTLE - Seattle police are investigating a crash that killed one person early Friday morning in the Interbay neighborhood.
The crash happened near 15th Avenue West and West Garfield Street at about 2:30 a.m.
Investigators said a driver in an SUV had a medical emergency, struck and knocked down a power pole and crashed into a fence.
Medics attempted life-saving measures but the 34-year-old driver died at the scene, police said.
The King County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
A front seat passenger was the other occupant in the car. She had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
