Medical personnel took the 48-year-old victim to Providence for treatment of a gunshot wound.

Authorities believe there is no threat to the public, and that this was an isolated incident between two people who knew each other.

Deputies and a K9 unit eventually located Waltner and booked him into jail for first-degree assault and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Anyone with additional information on the suspect or incident is urged to call the sheriff's office tip line at 425-388-3845.
